Dr. Mai El-Darawy Appointed Secretary of the Economic Development Committee at the Central Women’s Secretariat of the Reform and Renaissance Party

Cairo, Egypt – Dr. Hisham Mostafa Abdelaziz, Chairman of the Reform and Renaissance Party, has issued a decision appointing Dr. Mai El-Darawy, Chairwoman of Lavander Life Group, as Secretary of the Economic Development Committee within the Party’s Central Women’s Secretariat.
The appointment comes as part of the Party’s strategy to engage distinguished professionals and industry leaders in advancing national economic development and strengthening policy initiatives through specialized expertise.
Dr. Mai El-Drawy was selected in recognition of her extensive experience in entrepreneurship and economic development. She leads Lavander Life Group, a diversified business group comprising eight specialized companies operating in Egypt and internationally across the sectors of agriculture, manufacturing, trade, export, services, and advertising. In addition to her business leadership, she has launched numerous initiatives supporting women’s empowerment, youth development, and entrepreneurship.
Dr. El-Drawy also serves as a member of several regional and international economic organizations and business associations, reflecting her broad expertise in economic development, investment, and sustainable business growth.
The appointment highlights the Reform and Renaissance Party’s commitment to incorporating executive experience from the private sector into public and political engagement, particularly in areas related to economic development, women’s empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
